Natural Gas

Gas is available across the Wilton International site to meet existing and future demands. There are two sources of gas supply to the site. Gas is available from National Grid's Local Distribution Zone and also via a privately owned pipeline.

The on-site gas distribution network is owned, operated and maintained by Sembcorp.

Anyone wishing to use the on-site gas distribution network should email Utilities in order to discuss their operational requirements and the commercial terms and conditions for connection to the network.

Nitrogen

Nitrogen is supplied by BOC to the Wilton International site through their pipelines with buffer storage on site in two large Sembcorp Utilities UK owned underground cavities. The nitrogen is distributed through the BOC pipeline system at pressure of 100psig, although in certain areas this is reduced to 50 and 28 psig.

Compressed Air

Compressed Air is supplied from three locations at Wilton International for use in various plant support activities and is distributed through a network of pipelines at 100 psig. Many customers use this air for instrument purposes after further drying at plant locations.
