Manufacturing at Wilton began around 60 years ago and the site has seen continuous growth, improvement and regeneration ever since.

Almost 4 billion euros (£2.7 billion) has been invested in building or acquiring assets in the space of the past six years alone. New companies connecting to the resources and facilities of Wilton International can be confident in the long-term future of the site and the potential it offers for business growth.

Many of the world’s leading chemical and manufacturing companies are already well established at Wilton, including blue-chip multinationals such as Huntsman, SABIC, INVISTA, Artenius and Dow.

Since the mid-1990s, capital investment totalling around 770 million Euros (£525 million) has been made at Wilton International by site businesses. In addition, Northumbrian Water has spent over 213 million Euros (£145 million) on effluent treatment facilities to enhance existing arrangements. These facilities are available via pipeline and provide specialist biological effluent treatment.
